Learn Brioche Knitting!

Craftsy Brioche Class

Go West…

I’ve just caught up from a BIG summer project, and now I can tell you all about it!

I spent all of August working on a new design for a Craftsy knitalong, the Artemisia pullover. It was a blast to design and knit! I went to Denver last month to film the KAL class at the Craftsy studios.

The filming was way less scary than I would have thought, since being in front of the camera usually gives me jitters. Danica, the hair and makeup artist, made me look great every morning, and the film crew was great and very relaxed (which made me relax!).

Denver was fun, I love that town and got to visit Colorado friends. We visited lots of local spots for delicious food and drinks, like Vesta, Linger, and the historic Brown Palace. On the last evening there, Stefanie Japel and Liz Gipson (the amazing women who had held my hand from start to finish while we developed the class) took me out for celebratory drinks and eats.

I can’t wait to share the Artemisia Craftsy class with you as soon as it’s released! Stay tuned!

This is exciting news !!!!! I love Craftsy. I have taken a photography class to help me get better photos of finished felt and some sewing classes because I am happy to be using my machines again. Congratulations. I love watching your career develop.

      Thanks, Ellen!

I’d love to get my hands on this pattern. We live and travel in our motorhome, and get our internet through a myfi. We only get 14 gigs a month on Verizon wireless, so watching videos would quickly put us over our allotment. Is this available on DVD or PDF?

Glad you like it! Craftsy currently offers classes as streaming content, not DVD. Since the pattern is an active part of the class, I won’t be releasing it separately. I will be publishing other patterns over the next few months that use the same construction, though!
